I am a young artist of Armenian origin who is passionate about the world of jewelry and ceramics. I discovered jewelery in Venice (Italy) after an Erasmus scholarship in 2016. There I was lucky enough to teach classes with Professor Pozzobon who introduced me to this wonderful world of jewelery and which to this day I conceive as my passion.

Years later after returning from my company internship in Antwerp (Belgium) in a jewelry workshop called Nico Taeymans, I came back so fulfilled from this experience and with such confidence and learning that it was the push I needed to continue designing my pieces from home workshop.

Later, the curiosity about clay and fire arose and that is when I decided to take ceramic classes in different workshops. Discovering that I liked it and that I wanted to know more and more, three friends and I signed up for the EASCM where we were able to learn more about the technique and the materials.

It's funny how ceramics helped me delve into jewelry. The final result of ceramics always depends on multiple factors, factors that sometimes you cannot influence and make you experience that wonderful, disturbing sensation of never knowing how your piece will end: the surprise factor. That in turn makes me relax during the process and the final result and not be so methodical with the development in general. And so I have noticed with jewelry I have noticed less pressure, more freedom and fewer barriers to create and feel. Because for me art is that: forms of expression, ways of communicating and sharing... and for this I use my purest environment: Nature, the source of all my inspirations when creating and elaborating my pieces.

Undoubtedly, the search for raw material is the most exciting part of the process. Plants, shells, bones, insects, wood, stones, shells... there is so much to be inspired by and thank Mother Earth for.

The realization of pieces is established under criteria of both tradition and contemporary making use of various techniques, such as microfusion, forging or modeling. And the use of quality materials such as sterling silver, brass, 18kt gold, natural stones, pearls, resins, etc.

I hope with all my heart that you like my world as much as I do and that you too can be part of it.
